Chris is licensed by the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate, its highest credentialing.
Chris has been practicing acupuncture for over 15 years and serving his home community of Cape May County New Jersey for the past 13 years.
Chris has been providing personalized service, expert care, and outstanding clinical results to his ever growing patient base during that time. Chris has had a long interest in the ways of the ancient philosophy of the East since a very young age. He studied Asian religions and anthropology while completing his undergraduate training at the University of Santa Barbara California. Chris then directly pursued post graduate training achieving his masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine.
During his residency at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine Chris had the opportunity to intern for two years under the late Dr. Henry Weidong Han. While working in his formula dispensary, the world renowned Herbalist Henry imparted more than a few clinical gems on Chris that he still uses on a daily basis with patients. Chris’s acupuncture practice is informed in the style of the famous Tung family of acupuncture.
Chris’s acupuncture practice has been molded and shaped by studying with such masters in the field of acupuncture as the late Dr. Richard Tan, Susan Johnson, Henry McCann among others.
Recently Chris completed specialized training in the field of Opthalmic acupuncture under the tutelage of the world’s leading vision acupuncture expert, Dr. Andy Rosenfarb. Chris is happy and proud to share his skills and knowledge with his patient base.
